West Loop Parks Host Year-Round Seasonal Events and Activities

On July 18 the Pitchfork Music Festival takes place at Union Park as one of the summer highlights listed in local guides.

These events give residents recurring options for outdoor time and community gatherings across changing weather, using the same streets and parks each season.

Summer Activities

Movies in the Park screen at Heritage Green and Mary Bartelme Parks. The Taste of Randolph Street occurs in mid-June. The Randolph Street Market Festival runs on the last weekend of the month outdoors along Randolph Street. The Pitchfork Music Festival is scheduled at Union Park in July.

Fall Highlights

The West Loop Art Fest is held in mid-September and includes live music plus interactive art. Neighborhood parks also feature pumpkin patches and Halloween parties during this period.

Winter Activities
